Refugee Resettlement Program

The refugee program has been offering an employment services since 1990. It provides job preparation, job counseling, resume writing and job referrals. Additionally, eligible clieents  are referred to trainings as : Security Guard, Home Health Aide, and commercial drivers (CDL).

The employment program (Match Grant Program) services the following:

  • Refugees, within the first month of arrival.
  • Asylees, who contact our program within the 31st day of asylum approval.
  • Cuban/Haitian entrants who contact our program within the first month of their admission in the country as indicated on their I-94 cards.
  • Victims of Human Trafficking, within the 31st day of getting certification from HHS.

Refugee Resettlement Program provides direct financial assistance and referrals for Food stamps, Medicaid Benefits, English classes, and medical check-ups.
